29 July 2021

GPX Racing led Night Practice with its #22 Porsche, bringing the 2021 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa one step closer to getting underway.

Mathieu Jaminet posted a 2m19.569s lap to beat Nico Müller in the #37 Audi Sport Team WRT car by 0.238s. Both squads had earlier secured safe passage into tomorrow's Super Pole session. The #88 Mercedes-AMG Team AKKA ASP machine that topped Qualifying was third in Night Practice with Jules Gounon at the wheel.

The #52 AF Corse Ferrari led Pro-Am and finished 10th overall. The best Silver Cup entrant was the #7 Toksport WRT Mercedes-AMG in 14th, while the top Am Cup runner was the #23 Huber Motorsports Porsche in 23rd spot.

Super Pole will take place tomorrow at 19:50 and will see each crew nominate one driver to complete two flying laps of the 7km circuit. They will run in reserve order to their finishing positions in tonight's session, with Mercedes-AMG Team AKKA ASP taking to the track last in the battle for top spot.

This will be preceded by a 20-minute Warm-Up, which gets underway at 19:10 and is open to the full field. All of the action will be streamed live on the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa website, the event's official Facebook page and the GTWorld YouTube channel.
