Class of 2023 gather for CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa group photo

The 2023 CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa group photo was taken at Raidillon on Wednesday afternoon, bringing together the full field of drivers who will contest this weekend's twice-around-the-clock race. Here are a few facts and stats regarding this year's hopefuls.

• A grand total of 251 drivers will participate in this year's race.

• They are spread over five classes: Pro, Gold Cup, Silver Cup, Bronze Cup and Pro-Am. Pro crews are limited to three drivers, while the others can consist of three or four.

• Bronze is the biggest class with 21 cars, closely followed by Pro with 20. Pro-Am has 12 cars while Silver has 10 and Gold has seven.

• There are 38 nationalities from five continents among this year's drivers.  

• Germany leads the way with 33 drivers, followed by Great Britain (29) and France (28). 

• U.S. representation has increased significantly this year to 18 drivers. 

• There are also more Belgian drivers than last year, with 15 set to enter their home race.

• A total of 13 nations have a single driver on the 2023 grid. They include Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Estonia.

• There will be seven female drivers on the grid this year, one more than in 2022.

• All 251 drivers share one goal: victory at the 2023 CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.
