Total 24 Hours of Spa grid takes shape with confirmation of Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS entry list

The grid for this year's Total 24 Hours of Spa has begun to take shape following the announcement of the 2021 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS entry lists.

With the full-season Endurance Cup grid set, a minimum of 40 cars are locked in for this year's running of the Belgian endurance classic. There are nine brands among them, with Mercedes-AMG the best represented and similarly strong contingents for Audi and Lamborghini.

Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and Aston Martin also have multiple entrants confirmed, while Bentley and McLaren will be represented by at least one car at this year's race. Further additions will be confirmed during the coming months.

Indeed, several entries are set to join as part of Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli, which kicks off its 2021 season at Spa. Honda could add a 10th brand to the entry list, with the Japanese manufacturer likely to undertake the full IGTC campaign. One of the marque's NSX GT3 machines is currently testing at Circuit Paul Ricard.

A total of 35 cars are taking part in the official pre-season test, which runs on Thursday and Friday at the French venue. 2017 Total 24 Hours of Spa winner Saintéloc Racing topped the first morning session with its #26 Audi.
