HubAuto Racing confirms Kobayashi/Blomqvist/Gomes for Total 24 Hours of Spa assault

HubAuto Racing has confirmed plans to field a Ferrari 488 GT3 featuring a trio of experienced drivers at this year's Total 24 Hours of Spa.

2018 winner Tom Blomqvist will partner Marcos Gomes and former grand prix racer Kamui Kobayashi at the 22-25 October event, which will see the experienced trio competing for overall victory. Gomes will make his maiden appearance at the Belgian endurance classic, while both Kobayashi and Blomqvist will compete for the first time in a Ferrari.

“HubAuto are delighted to have Kamui join Tom and Marcos for the Total 24 Hours of Spa," said team principal and owner Morris Chen. "Kamui brings a wealth of endurance racing experience. Combined with the enduro experience of Tom and Marcos we have a very confident driver line up.”

The HubAuto squad made its Spa debut last season and qualified an impressive fifth, but exited the race after just 25 laps. The team was also on the grid for this year's Bathurst 12 Hour, where Gomes was part of the driver roster.

This year’s Total 24 Hours of Spa represents the seventh round of the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS season, as well as the third stop on the Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli calendar.
